Our meetings are essentially to give members friendly, relaxed evenings, whilst, at the same time, fostering a desire to know more about good wine. A number of wines will be tasted.

Ann et Vin - an independent wine retailer in Newark, opposite the Castle. There’s a very interesting range at all prices plus a café and deli. Great place to visit.
Barrels & Bottles - another independent retailer, but on an industrial estate outside Chesterfield at Sheepbridge on the way to Sheffield. The site looks quite interesting – and offers cookery lessons too
From Vineyards Direct - offers a small range of quality France, Italy and Spain, imported direct from the growers and delivered to your door at the click of a mouse at prices well below traditional outlets

Majestic Wine Warehouses - this award winning chain has many offers and is good value if you buy six. Free delivery around Mansfield from their Nottingham store
Stone, Vine & Sun - specialise in the Rhône, Burgundy, Languedoc-Roussillon, and the Loire Valley, plus South Africa and South America; their monthly mixed case offers are good value.
Supermarket Wines - .goes through the supermarkets & tells you the wines that have been recommended by newspaper wine critics. A very useful site
