 Whist

A few members wanted to play whist...
... but as there were not enough of us to set up our own group, enquiries showed that there was an established Whist group at St Phillip's Church Hall on Chesterfield Road.

I asked if we could join with them, and they kindly welcomed the half dozen of us who wished to play at that time and members have continued to enjoy the monthly joint sessions.

The atmosphere is very friendly and informal; there is plenty of advice available for new members and you do not need to bring a partner.

Cost is £2 per session which includes tea, cake and prizes for the winners.
Please contact Edith if you would like to join.
