Regarding the outing to Hemswell on Wed 31 March. I have booked a 35-seater bus for this outing, [which has one spare seat at the moment.]

I will be collecting the payments at the next General Meeting; it will cost Ł9 each, with a cheque payable to Mansfield and District U3A please. This will include a tip for the driver.

As there are often last minute cancellations I will be taking a waiting list. If I get a sudden increase in numbers I will book a bigger bus.

Alfreton Leisure Centre are having an Antiques and Collectors Fair on 14 March. The address is,

Newark Antique Warehouse, Kelham Road Newark is a place I have visited and enjoyed very much. It has several buildings containing all kinds of antiques and collectable.

10.30 – 5pm and 12 – 4.30 Sundays.

If you decide to go to an auction at Bamfords in Matlock there is an antiques and collectables shop on the same street at 7 Dale Road.

Bamfords are having auctions on 19 Feb, 12 March, 9 and 30 April at their showrooms at 133 Dale Road, Matlock.

Jewellery Ceramics and Glass start at 12.30pm and the general sales start at 10.30am; viewing from 9am.
