 | John Hallsworth | At the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest on 10th March It wasn't the sunniest or warmest of days, but there was a turnout of 20 plus strollers who ventured down to the woods. From the visitors centre car park, we ambled down to the Major Oak, there to find the ubiquitous camera crew - searching for Robin Hood, presumably.Diverting the crew from finding him, we stopped for our photo beside the Major Oak.
