MEMBERSHIP AND MONTHLY MEETINGS

Membership of the Mansfield & District U3A is available to anyone over 50 who is no longer working, subject to places being available for new members. It may prove especially useful to the recently retired! Prospective U3A members are invited to contact Val on 01623 642079 or John on 01623 421642.

The annual subscription for membership is £15.00 for the year 1st August to 31st July.  All members are required to pay their full membership subscriptions at the September meeting.  Members are allowed an extension to November before their names are removed from the membership list.

Members receive a mailing of  U3A News  published by The Third Age Trust each quarter.

From 1st September 2008 there will be no admission fee for the monthly U3A meeting. A charge of £1.00 will be made for refreshments  (please pay with coins rather than notes).  There are also small admission charges to the Art Group, Bridge Group, Craft Group, Current Affairs, Genealogy, Memories for Pleasure, Dance and Popular Music Appreciation Groups, to cover the costs of the meeting rooms.

The lecture list for the current year appears further down this page.
