Mansfield U3A Lunch Club
provides opportunities to enjoy fine food, fine company and fine value
at venues offering plain and simple fare to classic and international
cuisine. Vegetarian, gluten-free and diabetic options are always
available.
Bookings
usually open 3 months in advance on a first-come basis, sometimes with
a special discounted menu so that members can pre-order and thus speed
service but sometimes the staff take orders from the venue's full a la
carte or table d'hote menus during our pre-lunch chat.
Arrangements
are made by different members each month and suggestions are always
welcome - over lunch, at main meetings or by email/phone to David Ling.

Places can be reserved at the Luncheon Club table or by email or phone
to David in advance to avoid queuing.
Many members like to share cars in
order to reduce costs and several are willing to offer lifts in an
informal car-sharing scheme, for which a contribution to the driver of
£2 or £4 is made, depending on the distance involved.
