Members enjoyed a joint visit with Sutton-in-Ashfield U3A's gardeners to Barrie and Lynne Jackson's lovely garden in Annesley Woodhouse in August 2009 where they had devoted many hours of work creating an example to us all.

National Gardens Scheme - a registered charity that opens gardens in support of nursing and caring charities
Peter Beale - this oustanding Rose specialist and garden centre is in Norwich

Royal Horticultural Society - the UK's leading gardening charity
Royal National Rose Society - is a charity dedicated to the culivation, etc, of Roses. Their show garden in St Albans is open during the summer

RHS Plant Finder - the Royal Horticultural Society's database of all plant varieties currently available
Thompson and Morgan - offers advice and a huge range of seeds and plants
Vertigrow - this York nursery stocks over 1000 varieties of shrubs, perennials and mature trees
