At a recent meeting of our group
some of the members who had been knitting baby jumpers gathered them together to
be sent off to Africa. Newborn babies, many suffering from AIDS, are being
called 'Fish and Chip' babies because many are sent home from hospital wrapped
in newspaper for warmth.
If you would like to help us by
knitting a jumper just ask me or one of the group and we will supply you with a
pattern.
