| Bridge for Beginners
Maxine
& Martin Rose of Ashfield U3A run a bridge class for learners and
improvers at The
Enviro Centre, West Notts. College, Mansfield and they'd be delighted
to tell you about it if you would like to phone or email about joining
- or just want to chat about bridge. (Details at the bottom of this
page.)
You will need to
have a basic knowledge of cards, but the class will be teaching you
bridge from scratch. In order to plan the class, once your name is
registered, a firm commitment is required as the game calls for groups
of four.
The classes will be informal and you need not be
worried about making mistakes or playing the wrong card as you are
there to learn! The session will last for about 2 1/2 hours once a month,
always on a Monday and from 6.30 - 9.00 pm. there is no charge.
