Lawrence of Arabia
Captain Dyer was educated at Nottingham High School and
learnt to fly whilst at school. He studied engineering at Cambridge
university and joined the University Air Squadron. He joined the RAF
as a graduate in the sixties and flew a variety of aircraft for twenty years.
He was then employed in Civil Aviation for a further
twenty years and was a test pilot for a large aircraft company. He has
flown various people of notoriety to destinations around the world.
He retired after forty years with 10,000 flying
hours.
Over the past ten years he
has entertained and informed members of a variety of
groups and societies, such as Probus, Round Table and Rotary
. He is also a registered cruise line speaker.
